Days like this make me glad to be mostly human
Running Song of the Day:
I actually got a couple different great suggestions for some running songs, but today’s mood called for Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven. If you haven’t listened before, and have 90 minutes, boy. Boy.

Puddles form in the uneven walkway
Grey skies. Rain.
Rain all day. Cold. 30’s.
Forecast says rain stops between 3:00 and 4:00.
Easy way to not run; wait all day for better weather.
Life. Life gets in the way.
Only one coffee today. Trying to cut back.
Headache.
Realize it’s 3:30. Check outside. Still raining.
There’s nothing in you that feels like running.

Grey skies. No outlet.
Suit up.
Head out.
Pound the pavement.
Compact those bones.
OId shoes. Old watch. Old gear.
Old man.
10 kilometers. 6 miles and change. Half dozen etc.
Skies started to fade from grey to blue.
Not all is lost.

6.36 miles
in
1:06:56
so it was
5.7mph on avg
with
892 feet of vert
and i’ve run
35.11 miles this Spring

g’night

Got a great running song recommendation? Did you go for a jog yesterday and you want to write something about it? Grab a sweet pic of the sunset? Send them to me and I may feature them here.
